Description
The IFS Flat Panel is an economical general purpose air filter suited to a variety of air conditioning and ventilation systems. Commonly used as a pre-filter to extend the service life of final filters, as a primary filter in FCU’s or to provide filtration for outside air intakes. Made to order at our factory in Heidelberg West using Australian made materials, the IFS Flat Panel is a disposable dry media unit that can be made to virtually any height / width required and in depths ranging between 10 mm and 25 mm. Available in G3 / MERV 6 (washable), G4 / MERV 8 and F5 / MERV 9 classes.
Manufactured with Australian made needle punched polyurethane media, comprising dual layer / dual denier configuration and thick 20 mm loft. Galvanised mesh is stuck front and back to this nonwoven break resistant media to ensure rigidity and strength, then surrounded by a galvanised steel or aluminium frame (heavy gauge and stainless steel options available) and secured with pop rivets. The Flat Panel can be made to virtually any height / width required and depths ranging between 10 mm to 25 mm. Larger filters are braced with a steel support bar. Available in G3 / MERV 6 (washable), G4 / MERV 8 and F5 / MERV 9 efficiency classes. Flat Panel filters can be easily made up into banks using IFS F-Type Holding Frames to suit a given air flow capacity.
