Our Life Cycle Costing (LCC) Program calculates the total owning and operating costs to run a filtration system, incorporating purchase, freight, labour, maintenance, replacement, energy and disposal costs. It is a valuable tool used to compare different products, model filtration strategies to find a best fit or generate important budgetary information. Typically it is found that energy costs represent around 80% of total owning and operating costs – the IFS LCC Program can help minimise operating and also owning costs by optimising the performance of an air filtration system. Our LCC Program is based upon information contained in the NAFA Guide to Air Filtration, Fifth Edition, 2014.
We can also provide advice on the optimum static pressure point at which to change-out an air filter, that point where incremental energy costs become greater than the savings achieved in extending filter life.
