IFS Pads are suited to a number of different uses in air conditioning and ventilation systems. Pads can be cut to virtually any size as required for use in plant room outside air intakes, as pre-filters to extend the life of primary filters or to provide temporary protection to filter banks in the vicinity of construction works. Available in a range of types and efficiency classes.
IFS offer Pads in three different media types. IFS G3 Pads filter coarse particles. Manufactured using Australian made needle punched polyester, they provide low resistance to air flow and are classed low efficiency. They are a single denier washable product with a 15 mm loft. IFS G4 and F5 Pads are both manufactured using Australian made needle punched polyurethane disposable type media with 20 mm loft and dual layer / dual denier configuration. IFS G4 (MERV 8) Pads provide low to medium efficiency and low resistance to air flow. IFS F5 (MERV 9) Pads filter finer particles, providing medium efficiency while maintaining a relatively low pressure drop. IFS Pads can be easily constructed into filter banks to suit a required air flow capacity using IFS W-Style Holding Frames.
